The basic add-on is great for repeating everything learned in the basic workshop and applying it when creating the final project.

I was very happy with learning more in depth HTML and CSS skills. The workshops were great in showing transitions, changing themes, integrating color and using text and images in a creative way to make your website attractive. The real life projects are great for future reference or if you want to go back and improve your code.

I really enjoyed the Basics course and I was wondering "How can I make my Basics final project look better?". Well, I learnt how to do that in the Basics Add-On course that I've just completed and I'm very excited about the new skills that I acquired! I'm looking forward to seeing what exciting things I will learn in the SheCodes Plus course!

React was fun to learn. This weather app was the most challenging project yet but I have really enjoyed building it.

Building an interactive weather application using Python and API integration, along with analyzing and visualizing internet user data from raw CSV files, has been an incredibly enlightening experience for me. This project significantly enhanced my programming skills and demonstrated Python's capability in real-world applications. Through API integration, I fetched real-time weather data, and by working with raw CSV data, I gained more insight into data management and analysis. Using Python libraries like Matplotlib, I transformed complex datasets into clear visual representations. Overall, this project deepened my understanding of Python's versatility in data handling and emphasized the importance of maintaining data quality, ultimately improving my ability to develop robust data-driven applications.

This two weeks were really nice! Matt still knowledgeable and supportive, making the learning process enjoyable. I feel more ans more confident in my coding skills and excited to tackle new projects!

This was a short and challenging but fun project to complete. I ran into a few issues with getting my codes to work a few times. I like how in the video lessons, he shows us how we can go about trying to figure out the solutions, which I think will be useful in future projects/careers. Overall, this was an enjoyable workshop, and I am satisfied with the results.

This course was a good introduction to Python. Instructor Matt does a great job of breaking down the concepts into smaller, understandable pieces. The project is a fun way to tie all the concepts together.

The Basics Add-On Workshop has increased my confidence and competency with writing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. What initially appeared as an overwhelming project to a novice, Matt managed to break it down into steps that were comprehensive and non-intimidating. I utilized the heck out of Athena (AI coding assistant), and it helped me solve problems quickly, which allowed me to continue creating my project without getting stuck. Customer support (via Slack) was amazing, as well. I had one problem I couldn't solve after much of my own troubleshooting, so I posted it on the Slack channel. It was answered in less than an hour, and it fixed my problem immediately! Superb customer support and tools! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I loved building the final project for the SheCodes Basics Add on. It was challenging at times but once you pivot through its very rewarding when you see the end result of your code.

This workshop was a nice add to the previous ones by offering the basic skills of making any website responsive using Bootstrap. The final project was a good exercise to learn multiple page hosting, SEO and to practice website design.

I really loved completing this project. I decided not to follow the example given and create my own personal business website. I felt confident pausing the instructions and completing sections on my own, then watching Matt explain how he would do it.
