Homework and the project are quite challenging. However, I am thrilled to have completed the project. I want to learn more about coding.

This course was so engaging and fun. Having challenges for almost every module/individual session was CRUCIAL for me grasping the concepts and applying my learning in real-time before attempting the homework. The pacing was perfect, didn't feel too easy or too challenging. I can't wait to move on to the next course!

SheCodes workshop is the best place to start your coding journey. Its challenges(homeworks) and lessons are really interesting. I would highly recommend SheCodes to anyone who want to learn coding.

It was a complete course and different from the others. It`s suitable for the ones who wanna start from the begining. There was different kind of homework that makes you do whatever you have learn. The most important point part was that I really enjoyed practicing 😊

I wish there were more workshops by SheCodes, that is how much I love it. It is such a user-friendly program and you actually look forward to working on the projects and homework. It takes patience and dedication and SheCodes makes it easy to feel excited to learn these skills. This is the most thorough workshop I have ever done and I can't wait to see what's next to learn from this program. I have learned so so much, more than any other coding workshop I have taken with any other program. I love it here.

The SheCodes basics class has been fun, I enjoyed doing the challenges, homework and project. I now have a good background on html, css and javascript.

I enjoyed SheCodes. I learnt a lot and am so glad I did this course. Not only did the assignments and homework after each lesson help me retain the information, but the solution videos also helped me understand where improvement is required. 10/10, recommend.

This workshop has been amazing, I started off so nervous not knowing anything about coding or what it entailed. The lessons were easy to follow, informative and left me feeling confident about my abilities to complete the challenges and homework given at the end of each week. I work a 9-5 full time job so I would complete my lessons after I finish work. There wasn't one time where I did not look forward to logging in after work and getting stuck in to the new lessons. It has been such an enjoyable process and has left me wanting to learn more and more! I am very excited to see where my journey will take me now.

Since joining SheCodes Basic, I feel like I have learned so much than I did going the traditional route in school! Matt made it easy to understand the concept that was being taught. The challenges after most lessons were very helpful and the weekly homework helped in grasping what was taught. The projects helped put together what you learned and it was really fun to do! I am continuing with my SheCodes Max workshop and am so excited to be learning more! 🤩

I absolutely loved this course! It gives you a solid foundation in HTML, CSS and JavaScript which you can then use to make your own projects. I thoroughly enjoyed all the challenges/homework and really loved the fact that not everything is 'spoon-fed' to you. You are encouraged to do your own research to figure out how to do things. Look forward to continuing onto the next course!

Despite being an introductory course, I think it is very well structured. The topics covered were well explained in order to meet the challenges, the weekly homeworks and the final project, which I really enjoyed doing. I hope to take the following courses soon to continue learning

SheCodes Basics was a great way to start learning Web Development! The lessons are thorough, easy to follow up and the homework and project really put together all the information we learned over the last weeks. Two of my favourite things about the last weeks: the way the course is designed still pushes you to research on your own, which I found challenging but rewarding. Also, the fact that the course allows for self management - you can choose the times that better suit you, there are deadlines but all the classes are recorded so people who work or have other responsibilities can manage to learn and build a new career for themselves. Thank you, Matt and the team, for making it fun to learn a new language 🙃 we'll meet again in SheCodes Max 😄

In SheCodes Plus I used SheCodes's team support in Slack many times and It was really useful. I think that this online support in doing homework is a very huge advantage. You may have access to many courses for coding but without friendly support to do exercises and homework you may become frustrated of struggling to fix the bugs.

Just finished SheCodes Basics, and there wasn't a moment when I felt like I couldn't understand it. Homework was fun to make. Before enrolling this workshop, I was sure of my knowledge of HTML & CSS, but any line of JS would make my brain go blank! And during the workshop, I could relisten and reread information about JS that was hard to understand, and eventually I got all lessons! Can't wait to start my next workshop 🤗

This was one of the most fulfilling and productive 3 weeks in my life. I really enjoyed my time learning the basics of web development. I've been very unsure whether I wanted to pursue a a career in tech and was looking to test the waters and I can't believe how Matt made this transition as smooth and digestible! Learning a new skill such as Tech can be very daunting but with these easy to follow lesson Matt helped make this journey fun! I found myself smiling several times when I was able to complete a homework or challenge accurately! Thank you Matt!

I recently participated in the SheCodes Plus coding workshop, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. Despite not being in a physical classroom, and somewhat challenging, the instructor did an excellent job of creating an engaging and interactive learning environment. The workshop was structured in a way that allowed for plenty of hands-on practice, with coding exercises, weekly homework and final project that challenged me to apply what I had learned. The online format allowed me to work at my own pace and revisit material as needed, which was incredibly helpful. Overall, I highly recommend this online coding workshop to anyone interested in learning to code or looking to improve their skills. The quality of instruction and the interactive format made for an enjoyable and rewarding experience that I would not hesitate to participate in again.

This was a fun and extremely challenging workshop. I had to use embed websites, images and video and a lot of CSS to make all the homework and the final project Responsive but I am very happy with the result. Matt's help was crucial as usual and I can't wait for the next chapter!

I am a very creative and curious person but also love things that require problem-solving and cognitive stimulation. When I found Shecodes, I didn't know what to expect. I wanted to try out coding and see what it would be like to create my own landing page from scratch, but I felt like I was diving into the 'deep-end' with no prior knowledge or experience. I thought I would have to be super intelligent and love maths/science to code. I was so wrong! Shecodes showed me how taking the risk was worth it. I fell in love with coding during the 3 weeks of trying it out! Matt and everyone at Shecodes provide a welcoming and supportive space for beginners and people of all skill levels to dive into coding. Matt's engaging and easy-to-follow video lessons, as well as the creative and fun challenges/homework provided, have meant that I have gained so much confidence over the 3-week course in a field that I thought I wouldn't thrive. SheCodes is an amazing platform for all women to become curious and be creative through interactive coding workshops! I am intrigued by technology, coding and digital development but also have a passion for gender equality, and so I love the ethos of Shecodes at what they are doing for women worldwide; from opening up potential career paths to women in a sector where female representation is sparse, to even providing people with a starting point to develop and flourish within a new hobby/ interest. I am now going to continue coding and maybe look into careers in the Tech industry. I'd highly recommend giving coding a shot, especially through a Shecodes workshop!

Wow! I am very impressed with myself and the progress so far. Just take a look at my project and you will see how much I have improved in just a couple of weeks. The regular hands-on homework makes learning very fast and even though SheCode is an online workshop, the learning structure is very good. I am so impressed. SheCodes is definitely a must have workshop for every lady looking to transition into tech. Cant wait to continue, my learning. I am loving this everyday.

as a newbie in coding .I thought I'll struggle to even complete and submit the first homework but Matt made the lessons easy to understand and execute.I can confidently now say I am coder

Learning the basics of coding has been as intense as challenging but at the same time really enjoyable and in a way, easy. The videos are really efficient and Matthieu's explainations cannot be clearer. I could not complete the week 1 homework and challenges in due time but it was easy to request an extension, and the team was very understanding. I found the course very flexible, fun and interesting. I feel like I really understand how HTML, CSS and Javascript work, and feel more confident for the future. I was starting a UX design course at the same time, and was hoping to learn about the basics of coding since employers often like potential UX designers to be able to communicate and understand developers. I feel so much more confident now with the basic but yet thorought and solid knowledge SheCodes gave me!

Biggest project yet! compared to the previous homework, this one is a bit challenging but absolutely rewarding. I learned to integrate a lot of third-party sites to complete the project.

I didn't know much about coding before I joined the SheCodes workshop. However, through the program, I received a thorough and supportive introduction to the world of coding. Excellent course, would highly recommend to everyone who would like to start coding! Each week, there are a number of tutorials which you can watch when convenient and you can apply what you learned in the homework assignment. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow and the homework is exactly the right level of challenging.

Joining SheCodes was the best thing I could ever do for myself. I've learned a lot of new things in a short period of time and the weekly homework helps you in practicing my skills. I'm looking forward to learning more things in the SheCodes Plus program and later getting a remote job which has been my dream so that I can work from anywhere.

I absolutely loved this course! Matt Delac's teaching style was engaging and refreshing. He uses easy-to-understand and relatable examples to explain some complicated concepts, especially in Javascript. I like how the course was structured, too. With practical exercises that I can complete independently. But also, having a deadline for each homework was helpful in preventing me from procrastinating.

The basics course seems to have been well structured into bite-sized, easy to understand and remember videos and challenges. I liked having the chance to summarize at the end of each week in the form of homework. I would say the course is busy-life friendly. I was relieved to have the chance to apply for extensions when life happened. Overall, I had a lot of fun finishing this course especially, the final project.

Thank you SheCodes and Matt Delac for this fun filled and engaging program. The concepts were really broken down into easy to understand concepts and the videos were really great and interesting. I especially enjoyed the challenge at the end of each video and the homework at the end of each week. This has been an amazing experience.

The videos being outdated made the final stages of connecting with the API more complex than it needed to be. I also feel like Week 4's homework solution could have been much better explained. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed this course and appreciated the assistance on Slack - thank you kindly for that!

It hasnt even been two weeks since I joined SheCodes and the amount of confidence I feel knowing that I can do this! The slack community is genuine and it feels like we in it together and winning. Matt is great at teaching, I have no prior experience but I have learned so much and because you get challenges and homework you not spoon fed anything. Honestly enjoying.

I love how Matt teaches by first showing how to do one or two simple steps and immediately afterwards, the student can practice. I must say i really enjoyed the Shecodes basic class as a beginner with no idea of what coding is actually all about. SheCodes Basic was an excellent experience for me. The instruction videos were clear and easy to follow, and the challenges after each lesson were helpful in building up coding skills by focusing on specific components (such as if/else statements or classes). I was able to grasp some of the fundamentals of web front-end development with the resources provided in the basics workshop. The pace for learning the materials and doing the homework and challenges was also set well especially for beginners. The content was fitting to get me interested but not overwhelming for me to find it difficult to learn.

Such a great little course. Help is always available when you need it through Slack (but Google is truly your best friend). The steps to complete the workshop are explained efficiently and are easy to understand. You can complete the learning challenges in your own time, as long as you stick to the weekly homework deadlines, and even then, there is the opportunity to request an extension if you think you'll need it. I would recommend this for anyone looking to get into coding like I was, and especially if you're looking to update your skills. There's always something new to learn! Coding is definitely the way forward!

For anyone who wants to start learning code, this workshop is very interesting. You will be challenged with different exercises, and everything is well explained, homework and deadlines are good for keep focus. You can make your own portfolio.

I joined SheCodes to learn the fundamentals of coding. My roommate and I had been discussing it for weeks and finally signed up for this course. SheCodes did an excellent job of educating me about the fundamentals of coding. I loved how the courses were bite-sized and the challenges/homework were very attainable. The course I took was fun, informative, and very helpful!

I was surprised how easy and fun it was to take this course. It helped that we could get extensions on our homeworks. This made the course less stressful and manageable, especially for those running from job to job.

The information on the course is very well-structured and gives you good amount of knowledge about building responsive websites. I really enjoyed challenges and homeworks.

Love how I can learn at my own pace, but still have accountability to get any homework or projects done before the deadline. Matt is great at breaking things down and simplifying things.

I like programming with SheCodes because the lessons are clear and interesting. There are also handy homework assignments.

I had a chance to attend free coding classes from SheCodes during the hiatus of my university and I completed my SheCodes basics workshop this week. Throughout the courses, I became more and more confident in my coding skill because I got a lot of practical knowledge by doing challenges and homework after every week although I did not know anything about coding before the course. So, I am looking forward to trying more exciting challenges with SheCodes.

Lessons from this workshop are easy to understand. You can get extension for your homework deadline, so you won't be stressed. Highly recommend this workshop! BTW, for my final project, I am an ARMY, so I wanted to do my first website about BTS. I used the the color of BTS "Love Yourself :Answer" album as background color of my website. I tried my best for this final project.

The course was well structured and so much fun! Matt's step-by-step explanations make the lessons very easy to follow and enjoyable. The challenges and homework tasks were a great opportunity to practise what I've learnt and further deepen my knowledge. I'd definitely recommend this course!
