I never knew coding could be so much of fun. I always thought coding was not for me, but I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of the basics course. It's really amazing to see how putting all the little pieces together could create a complete picture of what I have envisioned. I am extremely grateful to have been given this opportunity to learn these skills that can help me progress in my career. Can't wait to be learning more and more with SheCodes.

Learning responsive design with SheCodes as a beginner in the coding industry was a highly rewarding experience. SheCodes offered a well-organized curriculum that gradually introduces the concepts of responsive design. As a beginner, you’ll start with the basics of HTML and CSS before moving on to more complex topics like media queries and flexible layouts. This step-by-step approach ensures that you build a solid foundation before tackling more advanced topics. One of the key features of SheCodes is its focus on hands-on learning. Throughout the course, I worked on real-world projects that require me to apply the concepts i’ve learned. For example, i created a responsive webpage that adjusts its layout based on the screen size. These projects help reinforce your learning and give you practical experience that you can showcase in your portfolio.

This workshop was incredible! I highly recommend it as it is a great starting point for beginners like me. Also, the challenges were really helpful, allowing me to use what I learned right away. Moreover, the supportive environment made the learning process even more enjoyable.

I had the pleasure of attending a SheCodes workshop, and I can confidently say it was an incredible experience. One of the standout aspects of SheCodes was the community. It was inspiring to be surrounded by like-minded women all eager to learn and support each other.

This coding workshop has been such an eye-opener for me as someone with little knowledge of AI capabilities before now. As always, Matt's way of providing learning has been invaluable and as such, I'm brimming with ideas on how I could use AI in future projects.

SheCodes Plus is a great continuation of the Basic course, and it adds a nice project to your portfolio! I enjoyed learning more about the concepts and project workflow process.

Loved working on the Add On Project as it utilized what was learned in the basics course which allowed me to create a project and take the initiative to add my own coding.

This was a great add-on course to push and challenge myself in taking what I have learned and trying something extra on top of the complexity of the world clock design. I combined this project learning with the previous SheCodes Plus project, and the result was amazing to see how much I have improved in such a short amount of time!

My amazing journey with SheCodes is still ongoing. And I can't call it the boring word "learning" because it is an adventure! An adventure that quietly teaches me a new profession and brings me pleasure. Many thanks to my friend who signed me up for a free programming course from SheCodes. For me this is more than a new profession. This is hope for a better life. It is also an incentive to take my mind off the war in my native Ukraine and not think about the fact that I lost everything I had and my life is over. Many thanks to the SheCodes team! My mother and I found ourselves in a foreign country with only my two cats and a dog, as well as a laptop. But thanks to the SheCodes team, I realized that I also have a brain and a chance for a good future. I recommend the SheCodes course to all women who want to master the profession of a web developer, gain independence and confidence in the future.

My goal for 2024 was to learn something new that would challenge me but also help widen my career options. Since starting this course I have gained a basic understanding of coding which has made me consider a potential career in this direction. As I am a very visual leaner, the course was perfect for me to understand how to apply code to build a webpage with the step by step videos.

I really enjoyed this workshop. I have been able to put into practice everything I have learnt before and I have learnt many new things that I have loved. The way Matt explains is really wonderful. Honestly I would do all the workshops more than once.

Finally I have completed the shecodes coding phase of 4 certifications; Basic, Plus, Responsive and React. That was really an amazing journey of learning. React was the most challenging workshop for me, but it was well-structured with a clear end goal. This made learning easier and kept me motivated because I knew what I was building. The course was a game-changer, with clear explanations that helped me grasp complex concepts. It encouraged me to dive into React's documentation and gain practical skills for real-world projects. I have enjoyed learning the basics of coding via SheCodes, Matt explains thing very clearly with lots of examples. There is a lot of support from both the SheCodes team and other students. It also really helped that it was flexible as I had to take an unexpected break.

It is really fun to see how the skills learned in the Basic and Basic Add-on workshops can translate into more complex coding. Learning how to work with API was intimidating but also very engaging.

The best workshop I have ever taken. You learn so much while developing a real-life project. The lessons are very helpful and you can decide to build your project step by step with the videos or simply look at them like a guide or inspiration. I would recommend SheCodes to anyone that wants to learn to code because it really is an extremely valuable and in depth course. Great beginner course for learning Python!

I took the shecodes basic course. Matt did a great job of explaining and giving the basics to understanding HTML, CSS and Javascript. I would highly recommend to beginners wanting to get started in learning these computer languages. I feel confident is moving on to the bootcamp course.

These were amazing 3 weeks of learning, trial and error, total brain re-load and a whole new sphere discovered! The course closed a lot of questions about coding I used to have, now I get its logic and am really excited to dive deeper. Super useful practical experience and the best immersive method of learning I encountered so far.

I LOVED this course!! It was exactly what I needed, something that allows me to go at my own pace, but still incorporates homework and deadlines to work towards. I really loved the challenges after each lesson as this allowed me to practice what we had just learnt independently and Matt thoroughly explaining the solutions afterwards made it x10 better. Although I did not use the Slack channel, it was great to know that support was available if I needed it. Overall, purchasing this course was one of the best decisions I have made for myself and I am excited to continue my coding journey. Although it took me slightly longer than 3 weeks, I got there in the end. Thank you Matt and the SheCodes team!!

It's been very exciting and at times challenging! Learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript basics with zero previous experience has been very interesting. I learnt a lot/got creative/made research and a lot of "trial-error" and now I am looking forward to continuing learning and discovering towards this direction. I really enjoyed the Basics course and I was wondering "How can I make my Basics final project look better?". Well, I learnt how to do that in the Basics Add-On course that I've just completed and I'm very excited about the new skills that I acquired! React was fun to learn. This weather app was the most challenging project yet but I have really enjoyed building it.

Learning JavaScript was a bit hard but Matt explained everything very well and I managed to understand and I love the fact that the workshops are hands on and you get to get your hands dirty.

The React workshop was incredibly challenging, pushing us to grasp complex concepts and advanced techniques. Despite the difficulty, I learned an immense amount, gaining a deep understanding of React and significantly improving my development skills.

I was already interested in developing websites when I was young. At some point, however, I had to give up my hobby and concentrate on school and life. This has got to be the most fun I've had during my SheCodes experience so far, who thought I'd be at a point where I'm able to build an app using AI! As always, Matt provided amazingly clear instructions and helpful guidance surrounding how AI works and how to build a fully fledged AI generator. I am so overwhelmed by the result, which in my case was inspired by one of my favourite hobbies - reading 📖. This has certainly urged me to want to dig so much deeper into learning more and working with AI in the future!

I had honestly enjoyed this challenge; it was fun learning how to use moment.js but also how to manipulate HTML. The JavaScript needed to make it all work and how to make it all work together to get a fabulous working world clock!! Excited to see what is next.

SheCodes Basics Add-On is very helpful when learning new methods to improve website appearance. It is definitely recommended if you have completed the Basics course.

As a full-time worker and single parent, I cannot believe I built a webpage from scratch in as little as three weeks! I enjoyed the basics workshop and feel motivated to move towards a longer one. The lessons were easy to follow, which made the assignments not as scary as they seemed. I had fun learning through SheCodes and look forward to learning more.

I learned a lot of new techniques and practices to make a website responsive. Learning how to use and integrate bootstrap in my work was also very useful. The video on how to use Figma to create designs was also especially helpful. This workshop allowed me to explore my more creative side and I had a lot of fun.

I am very glad to have an opportunity to learn how to code with Python with SheCodes. The learning process was fun and exciting. The mentor's explanations of Python in lessons were easy to understand and to follow. I enjoyed it a lot! Already excited to start learning the next one~!
