The Responsive Workshop was very challenging but incredibly rewarding. Although it took me more time than anticipated, I have learned a lot and gained valuable skills. The hands-on experience was both intense and enlightening, pushing me to grow in unexpected ways. Thanks, Matt, for your unwavering support and dedication. Your guidance made all the difference, and I truly appreciate your help throughout this journey.

As a complete beginner just three weeks ago, SheCodes Basics was a great first step into the world of coding! It has been so much fun learning lots of new skills which Matt has taught in a way that is super easy to follow and understand. I'm excited to continue my coding journey with SheCodes!

This module has challenged me so much that I almost wanted to quit but Matt and his team were there for me every step of the way and my confidence came back and I finally managed to complete this module. Thank you so much for everything. Shecodes is the best!!!!

Python is challenging but I very much enjoyed the course. Matt is very straight forward and clear on his classes. Very happy with the outcome.

The basics workshop is perfect for busy individuals. Matt teaches exactly what you need to create an interactive page in 15 minutes or less. The homework assignments are a great way to apply what you learned and if you can't submit it on time, extensions are available. I can't wait to continue onto Basics Add-on and so on. I have enjoyed learning the basics of coding via SheCodes, Matt explains thing very clearly with lots of examples. There is a lot of support from both the SheCodes team and other students. It also really helped that it was flexible as I had to take an unexpected break.

I loved this one week workshop the entire time. As I was studying, I became more passionate about styling websites and for that I have to thank SheCodes and Matt, our teacher. He really can transmit his passion through the course.

I really enjoyed the practical approach of the course, I will be lying if I said it was an easy journey. Everything was well organised and easy to understand even for someone with limited background of the course. But with an instructor like Matt, I managed to pull through step by step, which made me become more confident and passionate about web development.

I took the shecodes basic course. Matt did a great job of explaining and giving the basics to understanding HTML, CSS and Javascript. I would highly recommend to beginners wanting to get started in learning these computer languages. I feel confident is moving on to the bootcamp course.

I really enjoyed Responsive because now i am able to build an online portfolio, host code on Github and build a multiple page website..I am very grateful for Matt as my tutor for making the lessons smooth and easy to understand. I’m looking forward to the next workshop REACT.

I LOVED this course!! It was exactly what I needed, something that allows me to go at my own pace, but still incorporates homework and deadlines to work towards. I really loved the challenges after each lesson as this allowed me to practice what we had just learnt independently and Matt thoroughly explaining the solutions afterwards made it x10 better. Although I did not use the Slack channel, it was great to know that support was available if I needed it. Overall, purchasing this course was one of the best decisions I have made for myself and I am excited to continue my coding journey. Although it took me slightly longer than 3 weeks, I got there in the end. Thank you Matt and the SheCodes team!!

It's been very exciting and at times challenging! Learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript basics with zero previous experience has been very interesting. I learnt a lot/got creative/made research and a lot of "trial-error" and now I am looking forward to continuing learning and discovering towards this direction. A big thanks to our instructor Matt, for the interactive video tutorials that are structured and easy to digest, and also thanks to the SheCodes team for being there in case of any questions. This has got to be the most fun I've had during my SheCodes experience so far, who thought I'd be at a point where I'm able to build an app using AI! As always, Matt provided amazingly clear instructions and helpful guidance surrounding how AI works and how to build a fully fledged AI generator. I am so overwhelmed by the result, which in my case was inspired by one of my favourite hobbies - reading 📖. This has certainly urged me to want to dig so much deeper into learning more and working with AI in the future!

Shecodes helped me begin my journey into tech. I was so scared to begin coding, but Matt made it easy. The lessons are easy to understand and it was also fun learning coding!

A good workshop to get a head start in Python. I do like that the tutorials are short and sweet. Other video tutorials tend to be too long and the length of Matt's workshops are just right.

Matt is very cleat explaining and he makes difficult thins easy, that inspires me to keep going.

This course was a good introduction to Python. Instructor Matt does a great job of breaking down the concepts into smaller, understandable pieces. The project is a fun way to tie all the concepts together.

Great workshop by Matt. Super informative. Starting this workshop I didn't how to make a website responsive and having both those videos for responsive navigation was a treat... really simple to understand. Overall a great workshop

Honestly JavaScript been very intimidating but Matt just has a way of making you feel at ease and giving you the confidence to pull through.

Last year, I decided to shift career and I thought In can be a web developer. But having too many materials online I felt I am quite lost. The Basics Add-On Workshop has increased my confidence and competency with writing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. What initially appeared as an overwhelming project to a novice, Matt managed to break it down into steps that were comprehensive and non-intimidating. I utilized the heck out of Athena (AI coding assistant), and it helped me solve problems quickly, which allowed me to continue creating my project without getting stuck. Customer support (via Slack) was amazing, as well. I had one problem I couldn't solve after much of my own troubleshooting, so I posted it on the Slack channel. It was answered in less than an hour, and it fixed my problem immediately! Superb customer support and tools! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Loved learning on this with Matt - quick learning sessions

Juggling between being a final year PhD student in life sciences and learning how to code from zero, without feeling burnt out, has proven to be harder than I originally expected. In times like this I feel particularly thankful for Matt Delac for creating such a flexible coding workshop. I had a lot of fun building my Portfolio page.

If you (like me) just want to find out if coding is for you, I can definitely recommend SheCodes Basics. You learn so much in such a short time. And well, what can I say? Matt was right, coding is fun!

I have learned a great deal. I loved the self-paced nature of the workshop. The last three weeks of learning have been so enjoyable but at the very beginning it was a bit nerve racking. The Slack chat was wonderful and helpful during the whole process. I really would like to continue to learn and improve my coding skills in the near future. SheCodes basics add-on was exciting to work through. I had fun learning animation and grids, along with creating a dark theme for my page. I can confidently say I am so proud of my progress, thanks to Matt!

I really loved completing this project. I decided not to follow the example given and create my own personal business website. I felt confident pausing the instructions and completing sections on my own, then watching Matt explain how he would do it. I felt such a sense of accomplishment!I feel like all the pieces are fitting together!

The course was not only educative, it was engaging and fun I enjoyed every module. Matt's videos made it very easy to understand and follow whilst the weekly tasks helped with developing the skills and researching for better understanding. Taking a basic coding course was a great experience! Doing my first project was so satisfying and boosted my confidence. Matt is a great instructor and the whole experience was fun and very motivating. Now I feel ready to start my coding journey! Overall, it was a fantastic introduction to programming!

To be honest, React is not the easiest thing to learn. At times it feels a bit overengineered and unnecessarily complicated. But Matt splits it up in easily manageable tasks. So in the end I had a lot of fun learning and I am quite proud that I managed to build a weather application using React.

Once again, I can't believe I've come to the end of another challenging but fun project. The SheCodes Plus Add-On project was truly engaging, and learning how to utilise JavaScript to create a functional world clock has been empowering. After having had completed SheCodes Basics, SheCodes Plus, and all Add-ons, initially Python Basics felt relatively "simple". I was very happy with the repetition of certain terms used, and of course it did get a lot more complex week by week. By using rich, it makes it a bit more fun for a backend system :) Would totally recommend this course, Matt is doing an amazing job at teaching as always!

Matt's teaching style is so amazing. I've learned so much in 3 weeks than I did in a whole college semester. Each project is fun, informative, and you learn as you build. When I started this, I was very nervous that I was going to have trouble catching on. At 45 years old, my brain's not what it used to be. When I first thought about learning how to code to build an AI assistant, I believed it was going to be extremely hard, and I didn't feel competent enough to step into it... but of course, I was absolutely wrong. Great introduction to Python. Even if you don't have experience with any other programming language, this course makes Python accessible. Matt's directions were clear and the instruction built gradually, so you could apply each lesson as you progressed. SheCodes provides helpful resources for success including the SheCodes Athena AI. I have incorporated APIs in previous modules and other projects, and I enjoyed learning the similarities and differences in using them with Python. Looking forward to the next Python SheCodes course.

I truly enjoyed creating this project and learnt a lot of useful skills such as HTML tables, embeds, grids etc. I'm so happy with the outcome of my landing page about Tulum and I found this add-on course really fun and note-worthy as you can create various forms of creative websites utilising these skills that Matt teaches you. I look forward to pursuing SheCodes React and producing more aesthetically pleasing, functioning websites.

ShCodes has been the catalyst of my transformation . from coding my first hello world to being able to code five different languages. I keep surprising myself with understanding coding deeper and deeper. Matt is such a good teacher, I think people quit something because of the teacher. He is intuitive and logical. I am super excited about moving forward and learning everything I can from him.
