Phew! This workshop was actually the hardest of all, but learning and discovering so many ways of doing things much more straightforward with React is definitely rewarding. I had absolute fun tweaking and debugging alongside Matt. Cheers to completing this and thank you to Shecodes.
This project was a lot of fun, and have a good idea of how complex larger React projects can be, as well as some (much needed) practise in using states, functions and props. I've actually come to enjoy React, it's quite nice to divide your code up into sections. I think I'll definitely need to supplement with some additional study, but it was an excellent introduction to React.
Really interesting use case to build a react dictionary App, with two public APIs (one for images, and one for definitions etc).

Definitely a very challenging course but I think learning React is a valuable skill and knowledge to have and makes it all worth it. It'll get easier with time and practice but I enjoy how easy it is to follow along and that you're able to do it at your own pace.

React was a remarkable course to complete. The course content was thoroughly structured and Matt provided invaluable insight into React development. This made things more understandable for me, and it also encouraged me to not give up. This React final project helped me consolidate my understanding and proficiency in React.
Learning React is not easy. It takes a lot of practice and understanding. I was learning it while doing my freelance work. The great thing is it is very flexible, timewise.

Its been a great 8 weeks journey with a number of challenges that helped me improve my skill. I built an entire weather app in 8weeks! At the start of the course, it seemed complicated for me and I had no idea how I was going to build such an app. But am glad shecodes helped me through the process and my app is working. I could not have achieved this through learning on my own. Can't wait to move on to responsive and react workshops to make my app better.

Another React workshop came to it's end but this time diving deeper into React, and I've got to say, it was another fantastic experience! Just like the forecast project we did earlier, this workshop was a blast. One of the things I really appreciated about this workshop was how it helped me understand more about loops and working with double APIs. React can be a bit tricky to wrap your head around sometimes, but Matt really knows how to break it down into manageable chunks. Overall, I learned a ton and had a great time doing it. Can't wait to see what i will be learning and coding next! 🤍

Learning coding through SheCodes was definitely a transformative experience for me. SheCodes triggered my passion for Web development and using coding to scale ideas. Matthew explains React very simply and fluently so that anyone who is not familiar with any framework can easily understand it. But this course is far from the complete topics of React and maybe only 20% of React was discussed. I suggest that after completing this course, look for learning more about React

The first couple of weeks of React were tough and confusing. I'd gotten to the point where I felt quite confident using HTML, CSS and JavaScript, but it felt like starting from scratch. I'm so glad I stuck with it, and would highly recommend this course. I really liked that the final project was a React version of the SheCodes Plus final project; having some familiarity with the project (API calls etc) made the React aspects a little easier.
The curriculum was well-structured, covering everything from the basics to advanced concepts. The hands-on projects were particularly helpful in reinforcing my understanding of React.

I have FINALLY finished the SheCodes React Add-ons Course after starting and stopping throughout last year. I am overjoyed to say the least as every time I sat down to finish the course, I lacked in motivation. This year is different and I have finally got my head back in the game. This has proved to me that my coding journey isn't over, it is only just beginning.
Building the weather application in React was tricky but the step-by-step videos broke down the process. I am proud that I have learnt to use React and used functions, use states and Axios for this project.

Great workshop! Learning React was both challenging and inspiring. There were many moments that could have easily overwhelmed me (and sometimes did!), but as Matt says, "Take a breath and slow it down." It can be easy to forget things when you don't have the opportunity to keep practicing so learning something new in each lesson can be alot, especially if working a full time job during the day. I would highly recommend to anyone learning coding to practice skills further than class/homework if you have some extra time. SheCodes provides opportunities to put your skills to use with challenges on top of the weekly homework. As challenging as this workshop was, I would still recommend it. I think coding skills can be very valuable.

About the Workshop: My experience with the React workshop was both enriching and challenging. Sometimes it felt the workshop's pace was occassionaly fast but yet was still highly informative. About the project: despite its familiarity, felt yet so different building it with React. The framework's features and structured approach showcased numerous advantages over traditional JavaScript, which made it very exciting for me. About the community: A big thanks to our tech support, that they always had an answer for me when i encountered issues :) Next Steps: While the material was at times intricate, I feel the importance of revisiting the workshop to solidify my comprehension and acquire additional knowledge before progressing with the last two workshops :)
