The course content is easier to grasp, and the videos are also easier to follow.

The Responsive workshop blew my mind away. As always, the videos were well-structured, engaging, and highly practical. I gained valuable insights into creating websites that are not only visually appealing but also adaptable across various devices. The hands-on exercises and expert guidance provided by Matt greatly enhanced my understanding and skills. I highly recommend this workshop to anyone looking to excel in responsive web development.

It's taken me longer than expected but I am working full time (and long) hours. I have enjoyed learning the basics so far and have found the videos easy to understand and follow. Can't recommend this enough (and have already to many people!) and am looking forward to continuing my journey!

This was a tricky module for me, however I managed to make it to the finish line. As always Matt's videos were clear and informative. Whenever I had issues I was able to get them resolved quickly from a team member via slack. I enjoyed learning and making this app and looking forward to the next module.

SheCodes was recommended to me by a friend who is an alumna. I am grateful SheCodes has been part of my coding journey. It provided me with basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I enjoyed the videos because they were straight forward and beginner friendly. I plan to grow my coding knowledge and would like to move to the next level.

I have always wanted to break into coding. I had heard about SheCodes a while back, but I was in the middle of another career transition then, so I gave up on trying. I decided that I wanted to give coding a try again this year. I was enrolled in another Bootcamp, but as someone with ADHD, the long bricks of text, and non-consistent help, in conjunction with the persistent reminders of deadlines made me nervous and kept me stuck. I took the SheCodes free class and found renewed confidence in my abilities. I IMMEDIATELY switched to SheCodes and have been moving full speed ahead since. The videos break things down into powerful bite-size lessons, but also I am immediately able to practice what I learned right after. I feel like I was always suppose to learn here at SheCodes. I will be continuing with the SheCodes Bootcamp next.

I'm very glad i decided to be part of this amazing platform which makes it easier for us to learn coding. I found the videos easy to understand, and i like the fact that there are challenges which help me apply the knowlegde i've gained. This workshop has been a life changing journey for me and i would recommend it to anyone who wants to learn how to code,especially html and css.

If it wasn't for SheCodes I wouldn't know how to code. I really enjoy each of the workshop, and I was excited that SheCodes finally has a backend programming language workshop. I am looking forward to learning more python. The videos are an easy way to learn any technology or programming language.

This has been the most enjoyable, challenging journey ever😊, I have learned a lot and gained a lot of knowledge, it has not been easy but with the learning videos and instructions from Matt and the help of the Slack community 🙏 not forgetting the AI Anthena 😂 it became less trouble I love the coding tools that I got to discover coding is fun and interesting and I still can not believe it that I have obtained my web development certificate 🎉💃💃😁, I am so thankful for this opportunity.

Matt's videos are really easy to follow and I like how he explores different options before choosing the cleanest code (and explaining why). I especially loved this project as it provided extra training in how to read and work from a Figma file.

The Plus Workshops were a fantastic journey in learning coding! It was great fun to do the weekly lessons and easy to follow the videos. Looking forward to the next lessons 🤩

At first the homeworks were very challenging but the tutorial videos were a great help, i really enjoyed shecodes plus and am really happy i got to learn some new things

Doing the SheCodes Basics Add-On has been wonderful. I had a few challenges when it came to understanding some of the codes but with the help of the videos, I was able to pull through and finish the project.

The Responsive Add-on was really interesting, I loved finally learning how to add an image background with text on top of it. A highlight was learning how to correctly input embeds to have instagram posts and working videos in my projects!

My experience with SheCodes was fantastic and straightforward. The timely reminders kept me organized, and the high-quality videos made learning enjoyable. The supportive team always responded promptly, and the vibrant Slack community offered an excellent network of peers. This environment made me feel comfortable, boosted my confidence, and gave me the freedom to ask any questions. Overall, SheCodes empowered me and made my coding journey truly enjoyable.

Responsive add-on was a rewarding challenge to help me gain more in-depth knowledge of CSS and HTML. Exploring how to design grids and cards and tables without bootstrap and make it responsive to mobile.I also enjoyed learning to embed music and videos onto webpages to add some extra sparkle to my website.

This was the most challenging project. I need to revisit it and re-do it again so I can try master it. I am thankful for the solution videos for coming through when they are needed the most. I want more people to do SheCodes course and happy coding.

She Codes has been an incredible journey for me. The study videos were well-structured, engaging, and reignited my passion for coding. My goal for 2024 was to learn something new that would challenge me but also help widen my career options. Since starting this course I have gained a basic understanding of coding which has made me consider a potential career in this direction. As I am a very visual leaner, the course was perfect for me to understand how to apply code to build a webpage with the step by step videos.

The best workshop I have ever taken. You learn so much while developing a real-life project. The lessons are very helpful and you can decide to build your project step by step with the videos or simply look at them like a guide or inspiration. I would recommend SheCodes to anyone that wants to learn to code because it really is an extremely valuable and in depth course. And if there is ever any question the She Codes team is ready to help.

The course was not only educative, it was engaging and fun I enjoyed every module. Stepping into the coding world as a "newborn" was very challenging but fun ! Very understandable and easy to follow through each single lesson . The Responsive workshop was exciting to learn! It was very easy to follow along with the instructional videos, and was very gratifying seeing the final project take shape step by step.

If you are looking to learn the foundations of coding, I highly recommend taking this basics course. It is by far the best online course I have taken. I was so impressed with how much knowledge I gained in a short space of time, which I have already started to apply in my work. The videos were digestible and easy to follow, I particularly enjoyed the 'challenges' after each lesson which really helped to cement the learning throughout. Go for it!

This was my first experience with back-end coding, and now I'm hooked. Matt's videos walk you through the process, so you can see and understand why things work the way they do. More importantly, he demonstrates that even experienced coders sometimes need help, and how to find it when I needed it, helping build confidence that I could accomplish these tasks on my own.

This was a fun but challenging workshop. However, the step by step guide and explanations in the videos, as well as additional sheCodes resources, really helped me understand what I was doing. The team was helpful when help was needed to figure out any issues I was having, and I am happy with how my final project turned out.

SheCodes Basics was very fun to learn yet challenging at the same time, Matt explained every concept clearly in a simple way, what I loved most about this course is that the videos are short and they give us an opportunity to apply what we have learned as we go.

The React module was a HARD module! I almost got discouraged a few times but thankfully I stuck it through! The constant encouragement through the videos led me to understand that the difficulty was normal. The project in the end was worth the struggle haha

SheCodes Plus was such a fun, yet challenging experience. Through all the learning videos, challenges, practice projects and community support, I not only honed my coding skills, but I also learned how to think more logically and analytically in problem-solving. I've really enjoyed my time on SheCodes Basics as it's helped me revise the core elements of all three HTML, CSS and Javascript. The pace, information shared and the continued assurance from Matt during the videos has been great. Give it a go and you'll never know, you might just be good at coding and want to continue on through the programme, like me!

Very informative workshop. Definitely challenging and not free from frustrations but the videos provided good guidance and I’m pretty happy with what I managed to create during this add-on!

I found this an excellent way to motivate new learners like myself to gain coding skills; I have been struggling learning to code for years and I finally feel confident to start my own projects using what I have learned doing this course. The resources are handy and the videos are a good length; they are easy to follow and quite informative without being so long they become overwhelming. I have really enjoyed doing the challenges and the homework throughout the course; they were excellent revision aids too! Thank you so much to Matt and everyone at SheCodes!

As a beginner, it took me a bit longer than the expected time to complete the SheCodes Basics workshop. However, Matt's videos are well explained and really helpful. Also, the response time for questions is very fast (Thank you Britni!). I can't believe how much I learned in a short period of time. Even though my passion is not coding, there will practical uses for it in my business moving forward.

Through this course I was able to learn things that are not learned in most courses, and the videos are well explained and not difficult to understand.

Thank you so much Matt for an excellent workshop!. HTML, CSS and Javascript were all very new to me. I found the second week the most challenging for sure. By taking time to rewatch the videos and reaching out on Slack, I started to understand a little, found support and then really enjoyed week 3.

Plus was a bit challenging but I had fun troubleshooting my JS when it wasn't working. The videos are easy to follow and a huge shout out to the SheCodes team on Slack for always responding to my questions and Athena AI for being my companion.

This workshop was amazing! I feel I learned so much and I am excited that I have built my very own functioning and responsive website. It was so great to actually build my portfolio website from absolutely nothing, but what's even more awesome is that I feel confident that I can send it to employers! I was terrified about coding and thought this course would be too hard for me to learn and complete, but all the useful information, links, videos, challenge, solutions e.c.t. are amazing and really made me feel at ease and enjoy my first coding experience!

Great course! The videos are easy to follow.

Learning React was much harder than everything else I learned in these workshops. The lessons were very structured and straightforward. I did need to go back and watch the videos twice just to make sure I was doing it right, but overall, a huge stepping stone into front-end development.

I am thrilled I continued my SheCodes journey to learn even more about coding! The videos are straightforward to follow, with homework challenges along the way to help you practice what you have learned. This was a difficult course, not going to lie. I definitely had to go back and watch Matt's teachings multiple times and also google was my friend (thanks Matt for saying Google is ok!). Like usual his videos were really well explained, and I'd recommend SheCodes for anyone wanting to give React and software dev a go.

I'd been looking for a new challenge for a long time, and shecodes didn't disappoint! Coding is a lot of fun and the videos are great. The community is warm and friendly, exactly what I was looking for. No judgement, just fun and code :-)

It hasn't been easy combining shecodes with my full time job but im so glad of how flexible the system is and how comprehensive the videos are.

SheCodes is the easiest way to get started with coding. The way Matt teaches makes it very easy to follow along and I love how the information is presented in bite-sized videos, including a solution once a challenge has been submitted. This allowed to me learn and fully understand coding. Even though it was challenging at times, SheCodes made it fun!

Having just completed the Basics programme, I would highly recommend this to anyone starting out on their coding journey. The training videos are bite-sized, so it's easy to take in all the information that you need. The concepts are broken down really well and the challenges and homework have been a lot of fun to complete. WOW! I did it! This Workshop was soo helpful in understanding what is actually relevent in the Job Search/Career Kick-Off process. There's so much information out there, so to have someone (Matt) take it step-by-step for me was very clarifying! After I finished SheCodes Basic I went immediately started with SheCodes Plus. The combination of short teaching videos, followed by challenges during which you immediately apply the learnt material makes this so satisfying. The learning curve is steep and I will definitely go back and go through the material again! Additionally, I now have the confidence to apply for jobs that require to communicate with technical teams - that is a huge leap forward from where I was just a few weeks ago! It was really easy to understand the videos of the lesson given and being able to do practices of what is being taught has a big effect on your progress and understanding

I have loved my first three weeks learning to code with SheCodes. Tutorials and videos are helpful, with the right amount of challenge. I've already become quite "Sheldon" about my beautiful code babies and can't wait to learn more. Thank you SheCodes!

8 weeks of knowledge, not complaining at all. I have learned a lot about search engine, API integration(it was not easy but taking my time and replaying the videos until I got it right helped a lot, also not to forget help from the slack team as well) and so much more. It is crazy that I can now create a functioning forecast weather search app. Grateful for the opportunity to learn such skill at no cost.

Following SheCodes workshops is always a motivating journey for me. The hands-on projects are the best way to learn and immerse myself in coding. It makes me reproduce what the instructor showed in the short videos using my own ideas, but also find a lot of new solutions along the way and play around with my own coding. The learning curve is extremely fast and high!

I was nervous about self-paced education, but this was really helpful to me! I like that Matt gives examples in the videos but instructs to create our own design, so we can learn HTML, CSS, and JavaScript from our own experimentation.

This program has been easy to follow and understand; even for someone with minimal to no experience in coding. The videos were short and full of information, and completing homework assignments was easier with all the resources She Codes provides.

I found my SheCodes introduction to the basics journey very exceptional because you get to ask questions when you need help and Matt is very calm and makes sure that when he explains things you fully understand what is said through the videos. All the videos are easy to follow along to and understand!! Some concepts would be so confusing to understand otherwise, but everything is simplified in his videos. I love tech and can't wait to find my job!!

Joining was honestly the most amazing thing that could have happened for me, I learned new skills and my knowledge on coding has expanded Matt's teaching style was very short, to the point and very understandable , I barely had to rewind! The videos are in bite sizes for you to absorb it more and I honestly prefer it this way! If you prefer a mostly self-paced but also guided learning experience I Reccomend SheCodes!

I had so much fun with this workshop! I loved to experiment with various color schemes for the backgrounds and try to match everything to make it look pretty. The short videos were super helpful because they focused on one thing at a time, making everything easier to grasp. Can't wait to dive into more workshops!

This was an excellent starter course for people with no prior coding experience. The training videos are easy enough to follow along and comprehensive. I personally really enjoyed the repetitious coding challenges put in to place to make sure I understood what I had learned and to help retain information. Matt did an excellent job instructing in this workshop, keeping me engaged with lessons being short and to the point.

Very structured curricullum, with good videos, a good AI and very good support through Slack. I tried other programs online, but ended up getting frustrated. I did not get frustrated this time!

Awesome classes & more challenging, but when you really watch the videos and listen to Matt, it gets easier and more understandable. I throughly enjoyed learning about GitHub, APIs and JavaScript.

With short, manageable videos and the flexibility to learn at my own pace, I went from being a complete beginner to confidently building my own small website. SheCodes made coding approachable and enjoyable, and I'm thankful for the valuable skills I've acquired!

This was a great add-on course to the basic learnings of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It was especially fun to try and code at the same time as the learning videos for the project (assignment) for this course. This was a great way to test my understanding of what was being done, and see if I have found other ways to do reach the same solution.

The basics course was such a wonderful introduction to coding! Do not let its short timeframe fool you - you learn a ton of new things during those three weeks. The projects are fun and engaging, and comprehensive explanations are provided in the 'solution' videos. This course is for everyone who wants a smooth introduction into the coding world.

Repetition is key! Be not afraid to watch the videos multiple times. I take a nap after and then it all clicks. Being good at this is not an overnight skill. The journey is never-ending. Through this course, I see that I have a lot to learn. This was beyond fun and I enjoyed it.

I love learning new things and the way the course is designed is great. The videos are short, simple and easy to follow.

Lessons are very structured as always. I love that we are building towards working on building a functional web application, and the lessons throughout are broken down to teach the essentials we need to learn for the HTML, CSS, and JS + how to use GIT and deploy the website in the end. Felt like we have a goal to work towards while learning the harder concept. It's also always so good to see Matt code it from scratch at the videos and see the way he tries to debug the code when it's not working. so helpful.

I have learn a lot in the first two weeks, and when it came to the project, I was able to apply my knowledge and complete the project. I was able to be creative as possible. The videos made it easy to understand HTML and JavaScript, and the different challenges helped me practice and have a better understand on each topic.

I must say it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The curriculum was expertly designed, covering everything from basic principles to advanced techniques. The videos were not only knowledgeable but also easy to follow and understand which made learning enjoyable. The hands-on projects and real-world simulations were particularly valuable as they allowed me to apply what I learned in a practical setting.

This React workshop compared to the Basics or Plus workshops does not solidy concepts as much. I felt as though I didn't learn as much as before and most of the concepts were only brushed upon in the videos.

I learnt a lot from the 3 week course, and definitely enjoyed coding. I love how the videos were short and straight to the point, I would definitely like to continue learning.

The SheCodes Responsive-Add on has allowed me to deeper my understanding of responsive design. It has also enabled me to gain more knowledge using pure CSS without having to rely on frameworks such as: Bootstrap.
