This has been one of my favorite add-ons! It was challenging, but I love the step-by-step break down of the project and the creativity that goes along with all the projects.

SheCodes Basics took me from a complete novice in this field to someone who can actually understand coding. I absolutely loved the learning process, it was easy, seamless, challenging and fun.

So far I have really learnt a lot on SheCodes. I had previously tried learning programming on other sites and purchased accounts and never understood JavaScript this well🥳🥳I am grateful and excited to keep lerning.#iloveshecodes❤️

I just finished the SheCodes Python Basics course, and it was amazing! As a beginner, I found the lessons easy to follow and the projects super fun. The hands-on exercises really helped me understand the concepts. I love the support from the SheCodes team and their feedback! I especially loved the final project where I built a weather app. It was so rewarding to see how much I learned and to create something functional.

A very fun but very challenging experience; every level requires a different mindset and aptitude yet you're still building on the fundamentals. Loved the project -sweat, tears and all! Eager for what's ahead!

I love new adventures and career changes. This is my first time with hands on real coding, it is a lot to learn, but nothing is impossible! There are no regrets, the way the whole bootcamp is set up is all in your hands, the sky is the limit. Motivation is the key.

Having started my coding journey a while ago, I loved the basic workshops to brush up on my knowledge and push myself in unfamiliar aspects.

I feel like I'm getting better and better at coding and making websites. I really love the explanation of what you're going to be working on and the breakdown of what you're doing. I'm excited to continue my coding journey and to see what is next in my future!

Learning as a beginner was quite a challenge and a very exciting journey which I loved. I feel so confident to continue learning to gain more knowledge and experience

Loved learning new CSS skills and incorporating them into my webpages.

I built my own fully functional beautiful weather app. I love it! Everything was shown and explained very well.

Absolutely loved the final project! Enjoyed to build it from the first to the last line of code! Loved to change the design

I like Matt's approach to teaching. He shows us some things but then challenges us to try and figure out other things based on what we have learned. For someone who has long been a self-confessed technophobe, I'm surprised at how much I've enjoyed this. Frustrating at times, yes. But I love seeing the immediate result of something I've done. You type a code (a correct code lol) and the page outputs what you've done. And I must say I'm quite happy with my final project!

I have absolutely loved training on this basic introduction to Coding! Not only were the lessons easy to follow and understand, it was so much fun and so easy to work around my current work commitments! I would definitely recommend this course if you're looking for a taste of what a career in Coding would look like. Thanks Matt and the SheCodes team! 😁

This has been the most enjoyable, challenging journey ever😊, I have learned a lot and gained a lot of knowledge, it has not been easy but with the learning videos and instructions from Matt and the help of the Slack community 🙏 not forgetting the AI Anthena 😂 it became less trouble I love the coding tools that I got to discover coding is fun and interesting and I still can not believe it that I have obtained my web development certificate 🎉💃💃😁, I am so thankful for this opportunity.

I loved learning how to make code responsive. I thoroughly enjoyed this course and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to learn how to make code responsive for any size device.

The whole thing was a little bit challenging but i loved every bit of it. Really loved seeing my final project come to fruition.

Matt's videos are really easy to follow and I like how he explores different options before choosing the cleanest code (and explaining why). I especially loved this project as it provided extra training in how to read and work from a Figma file.

I loved, loved, loved this course! Getting my feet wet in coding couldn't have been more fun. Can't wait to take more workshops and fulfill my dream of becoming a Software Developer!

I recently attended the coding basics workshop, and I must say, it was a game-changer for me! As a complete beginner, I was hesitant at first, but the instructor made me feel welcome and supported throughout the entire process. The workshop was well-structured, and the content was delivered in a clear and concise manner. I loved the hands-on exercises and project that helped me apply what I learned. Thanks to this workshop, I know have a solid foundation in coding and the confidence to continue learning.

I loved every minute spent coding, Matt's voice walked me through it step by step, and I really appreciated being able to take the course in my own time. I never felt stress of having to finish by a deadline and I still thank all the admins on slack so much for always responding on time and accurately. I felt at home, always supported. I love the method where there is an explanation, followed by a challenge, and then the solution. It makes a world of difference :)

I love that there were two weeks dedicated to AI since it's very commonly used nowadays. Prompt engineering is not that easy but it's always fun when it works the way you want to!

I absolutely love this course. Learning how to use CSS to create an image grid and how to transform images has been absolutely amazing. I am really excited about all that I am learning, and I feel like I can create simple webpages with ease.

This project was so challenging but absolutely rewarding. Creating an app in React was a breath of fresh air as I loved the change of pace and the obstacles I faced. It made me think outside the box and delve into researching new things for a better understanding.

I came into SheCodes not knowing what to expect and was very nervous with this new exciting career journey. I absolutely loved every minute of it. I am so happy with myself for really pursuing this and I think I will continue to do more courses in the future. Thank you Matt and Team.

The Responsive Add-on was really interesting, I loved finally learning how to add an image background with text on top of it. A highlight was learning how to correctly input embeds to have instagram posts and working videos in my projects!

I love how the class is really easy to understand.

I have no experience in coding at all, but I am looking for a career change. That is when I discovered SheCodes, and it gave me the confidence to continue with coding. I would love to make a career out of this and I know that this program will get me to where I will need to go.

This was my favourite workshop to date. When it connects my love for coding and SEO - what is there to not love?

I stumbled on this SheCodes course by chance. I'd been hearing about coding for a while then, and I had always felt curious about it. Since the online course allowed me to learn at one's own pace, I decided to give it a try. And I LOVED it! Despite my raging ADHD, I managed to finish the course a week in advance. The lessons were short and clear, and I found the challenges and homework enjoyable. Once I sat down in front of my PC, I couldn't stop working until I was satisfied with my progress. Being a short course, it obviously covered only the basics, but even so I feel like I learned a lot. I'm seriously thinking about buying the following courses now!

Lovely course for Basics add-ons, for absolute beginners like myself, it might take a while to pick things up but if you like searching/researching and getting stuck into things until you find a solution, it is great fun and fulfilling.

Learnt so much (again) and the challenges are really enjoyable. Tricky at times, but take a break and come back to it, keep learning. Love it :)

I absolutely loved working on the portfolio, it was a very encouraging way to learn about responsive pages and how to make everything work for all types of screens. Also, the fact that we can use it as a personal site for future job applications makes things more interesting!

She Codes has been an incredible journey for me. The study videos were well-structured, engaging, and reignited my passion for coding. This is my second course with She Codes and I loved everything I learned with Matt.

I LOVED this course!! It was exactly what I needed, something that allows me to go at my own pace, but still incorporates homework and deadlines to work towards. I really loved the challenges after each lesson as this allowed me to practice what we had just learnt independently and Matt thoroughly explaining the solutions afterwards made it x10 better. Although I did not use the Slack channel, it was great to know that support was available if I needed it. Overall, purchasing this course was one of the best decisions I have made for myself and I am excited to continue my coding journey. Although it took me slightly longer than 3 weeks, I got there in the end. Thank you Matt and the SheCodes team!!

Learning JavaScript was a bit hard but Matt explained everything very well and I managed to understand and I love the fact that the workshops are hands on and you get to get your hands dirty.

I love challenges and learning to code has definitely been one. The course is great, very well-structured and explanations are easy to follow and with so many resources available to support you along the course.

I had a lot of fun with this project. It was easy enough now that I've learned the concepts and languages. I especially loved working with Bootstrap.

Javascript was a bit tricky buy I love how Shecodes made it feel simple to grasp. I'm so happy. Would highly recommend :))

I have learned a great deal. I loved the self-paced nature of the workshop. The last three weeks of learning have been so enjoyable but at the very beginning it was a bit nerve racking. The Slack chat was wonderful and helpful during the whole process. I really would like to continue to learn and improve my coding skills in the near future. Super fun and interesting! I loved taking the tools we learned in both basics and plus and building on them with this fun little extra project!

Loved this class! It's a great addition to the Basics class and gives you a chance to expand your skills. The additional content is great and I think it is super helpful when it comes to styling and adding more visual content to your pages.

Great workshop! I loved the bite-sized lessons and the focus on practical solutions. It was very fun and engaging. I especially appreciated how the workshop predicted common mistakes in the solution part.

I really loved completing this project. I decided not to follow the example given and create my own personal business website. I felt confident pausing the instructions and completing sections on my own, then watching Matt explain how he would do it. I felt such a sense of accomplishment!I feel like all the pieces are fitting together!

I love Responsive Coding. It blew my mind seeing how sites appear on mobile vs laptop screen. I rate it 10/10

SheCodes was initially challenging since I had no coding background, but the detailed lessons and reinforcing challenges made all the difference. I loved being able to rewatch videos whenever I needed and use Slack to ask questions and get help with my codes. This made learning fun and effective!

SheCodes Plus was challenging and rewarding in all the best ways possible ❤️ The structure and pace was great and I had access to all the support I needed (I loved the AI coding assistant in particular - Athena is great!!). Through this course, I've not only learned essential coding skills but also gained practical experience in areas like JavaScript, API integration, GitHub, and hosting on platforms like Netlify. A big thank you to the SheCodes team for another excellent workshop!!

Being over 30 with no experience in tech, I thought that learning a language code from scratch would have been too hard but I was wrong! SheCodes courses are easy to follow, well structured and flexible. I love that we have access to a whole community of coders, they helped me many times when I was stuck. I am looking forward to changing my career!
