I just finished the SheCodes Python Basics course, and it was amazing! As a beginner, I found the lessons easy to follow and the projects super fun. The hands-on exercises really helped me understand the concepts. I love the support from the SheCodes team and their feedback! I especially loved the final project where I built a weather app. It was so rewarding to see how much I learned and to create something functional.

This was a tricky module for me, however I managed to make it to the finish line. As always Matt's videos were clear and informative. Whenever I had issues I was able to get them resolved quickly from a team member via slack. I enjoyed learning and making this app and looking forward to the next module.

I really enjoy how the concepts were explained and the course was build e.g. with the mix of theoretical video, challenge and homework - it allows students to remobilise what they have learnt without feeling too overwhelmed. Other students were also super reactive on Slack as well as SheCodes' team. Week 1 too me more time than expected so I was a bit worried whether I would finish the course in 3 weeks, but actually week 2 and 3 are less heavy, so all was fine!
Despite having some coding experienced, my knowledge in JavaScript was very limited. I didn't understand it so well but with Matt's teaching technique and approach, I was able to pick it up quickly and have a better understanding of how function and events work. This workshop was challenging! Kudos to Matt Delac and SheCodes team for making coding learning easy and enjoyable! Thank you!

Well-structured course with bite-sized lessons and challenges afterwards. The methodology makes code seem more approachable and far less intimidating. This was quite a challenging workshop but the fun part about the complexity of the workshop was having to navigate from learning basic CSS and java script to a more advanced CSS and java script. I also enjoyed transitioning from building a non functional website to building a functional website with real data. Completing the workshop took me long than I had anticipated and although I found it a bit challenging, I am glad that the SheCodes team was able to make things easier for me throughout the workshop.
This has been a challenging journey but I wouldn't have had it any other way. How surprising to see what one can achieve when you have the most amazing teacher. My amazing journey with SheCodes is still ongoing. And I can't call it the boring word "learning" because it is an adventure! It's been very exciting and at times challenging! Learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript basics with zero previous experience has been very interesting. I learnt a lot/got creative/made research and a lot of "trial-error" and now I am looking forward to continuing learning and discovering towards this direction. When I started this, I was very nervous that I was going to have trouble catching on. At 45 years old, my brain's not what it used to be. When I first thought about learning how to code to build an AI assistant, I believed it was going to be extremely hard, and I didn't feel competent enough to step into it... but of course, I was absolutely wrong. I am very happy that Matt and the SheCodes team included this AI workshop in the front-end curriculum. I've learned a lot and enjoyed all the lessons and the project. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 👏👏👏
With significant support from the SheCodes team, I completed the "My Dictionary in React" project, a wonderful and challenging experience that required applying all the learning acquired during the course. Throughout the development, I faced several challenges, such as integrating with third-party APIs to fetch dynamic data and adjusting the responsive layout for different devices. The project was a success, allowing users to efficiently and visually pleasingly access word definitions and images. The application was optimized for performance and accessibility, improving my technical skills in React and API integration, as well as enhancing my project management skills and decision-making under pressure. I still have much to learn, practice, and refine, but I am happy with the outcome. I want to especially thank my husband and the SheCodes team for their invaluable support.
I have learned a lot, they have a really good support team on Slack. Overall the workshop is really good and worth trying and very friendly beginner.
